My Story

I’m Frederique Tak and I’m a London-based illustrator with a deep interest in the intersection of art and psychology. My work is driven by a passion for visual storytelling and a curiosity about the human mind.
With a background and deep running interest in psychology, a lot of my art explores inner worlds, emotions, and mental landscapes. One of my most meaningful projects, Psyche, is a colouring book based on personal interviews, where I visualised how individuals perceive their own minds—a blend of illustration and introspection.
Collaboration is at the heart of what I do. I love working closely with clients to ensure their commissioned artwork is not only beautiful but also personally meaningful. For me, art is a way to connect, reflect, and make the invisible visible.
